C	Proficient	Clear demonstration  of school identity, purposefully communicated to all stakeholders There are identity symbols (vision, logo, motto, anthem, uniform, etc.) and their displays. Teachers and head are aware of their significance. Need to promote the expected level of dignity in dealing with identity symbols, better awareness about the relevance of school identity symbols among committee members and students, pride in school identity, and efforts to promote and track brand value.
D	Accomplished	Clearly demonstrated identity, sense of pride, efforts to promote and track the brand value There are clear manifestations of school identity, and sense of pride in identity among stakeholders, and some evidence of efforts to promote the brand value. The vision statements, school logo and motto are invariably present in all the important internal and external publications, the stakeholders accord the identity symbols due respect. The impact of brand value is tracked at appropriate periodicity for any required corrections/changes in identity manifestations.
E	Distinguished	Strong identity  establishment, demonstrated sense of pride, extensive efforts to promote the brand value School identity symbols are dealt with extreme pride and dignity, strong sense of identity among stakeholders, deliberate and commendable attempts made to promote a strong brand value. Various programmes- aligned with the school vision - conducted by the school at various levels (National/international), etc. At an appropriate periodicity, identity manifestations are reviewed for their effectiveness, and revisions are carried out if required. Commendable efforts to showcase the practices for building and promoting school identity to peer schools.
