Not Demonstrated
|

Committee’s School Supervision

committee’s efforts to check the infrastructure and facilities, the school
environment, and identify the staff’s requirements during school visits.

B
|
Developing
|
Supervision of only some basic aspects
of school operation
The SMC members make observations about some basic facilities
but no proper documentation for further action.
|
C
|
Proficient
|
Supervision of all the major school level operations, but
more of quantitative checks
School Supervision reports give clear indications of SMC’s efforts to check
infrastructure and facilities, and the efforts made to identify the staff’s
requirements during school visits.
|
D
|
Accomplished
|
Supervision more qualitative, and all inclusive, but further
actions and follow up system not effective
It is fully evident that SMC checks the adequacy, condition,
cleanliness and appearance of infrastructure and facilities, evaluates the
inclusiveness and psycho-social comfort of the school environment, and tries
to identify the staff’s requirements during school visits. Continuous efforts
to refine the supervision practices based on internal and external feedbacks.

E
|
Distinguished
|
Qualitative and all inclusive
supervision, identified action plans and strong follow up
The school visit report’s content reflects the quality of
SMC’s supervision visits in terms of thorough planning, proper conduct, use
of diverse and reliable methods for data collection, coverage of all the important
school operational areas, proper documentation and analysis, and detailed
action plans with clearly allocated responsibilities, continuous follow up to
ensure the implementation of action plans. Commendable efforts have been made
to showcase the school supervision best practices to other schools.
